- 1. Passport
- Before heading to Australia, make sure your passport is valid for at least six months. It’s also recommended to prepare a copy of your passport information page and give it to a family member for safekeeping in case of emergency.
- 2. Visa
- Student Visa (Subclass 500): Ensure you have applied for and received your visa. Check the specific requirements of your visa, such as maintaining full-time student status or any work restrictions.
- Visa Conditions: Be aware of any special requirements on your visa, such as needing to undergo a health check or holding specific health insurance.
- 3. Flight Ticket
- Be sure to book your flight to Australia before the start date of your course and allow enough time to adjust to the new city and campus. You can book your flight only after receiving your student visa.
- 4. Packing
- Clothing:
- - Summer (December to February): T-shirts, shorts, sandals, swimwear, hats, and sunglasses.
- - Winter (June to August): Long-sleeve shirts, coats, scarves, and gloves. While Perth's winter isn’t extremely cold, it often rains, and the temperature difference between morning and evening can be significant.
- - Electrical Appliances:
- Australia uses 230V voltage and Type I plugs.
